Last updated 2026. This policy covers exactly what this site does — nothing has been copied from a generic template.
One Road North is a static planning guide to the Icefields Parkway. There is no user account system, no login, and no e-commerce on this site — the only way this site collects any information from you is if you voluntarily submit one of the two forms on the contact page.
If you send a question or correction through the contact form, we store the name you provide, your email address, and your message. This is used solely to read and reply to what you sent — there is no other purpose.
If you request the printable corridor guide, we store your email address (no name or message is required for this form) so we can send the guide to that address.
When either form is submitted, the sending IP address is recorded alongside the message. This is standard abuse-prevention practice for a public form — it is not used to identify you for any other purpose, and it is not linked to any tracking or advertising profile, because this site doesn't build one.
This site does not set cookies of any kind — no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session cookies, no third-party embeds that track you. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing is being tracked. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first, and the change will be described plainly here rather than folded into a broad "may use cookies" clause.
We do not sell, rent, or share the contents of the contact form or guide-request form with any third party, advertiser, or data broker. The only party that sees a submission is whoever operates this site.
Contact and guide-request submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond to the request and to keep a reasonable record for abuse prevention. If you'd like a specific submission deleted sooner, see "Your rights" below.
You can ask what information we hold about a submission you made, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time and at no cost. Send that request through the contact page using the same email address you originally submitted, so we can locate the right record.
This site is a general travel-planning resource not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site's forms, contact us and it will be removed.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what's collected or how it's used, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change and the update will be described here in plain terms, not buried in a version-history link.
Questions about this policy, or a request under "Your rights" above, can be sent through the contact page.
